PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hypnotic agent composition in which adverse effect (feeling of discomfort and sense of malaise after awakening) of antihistamic medicines on central nervous system is alleviated without having bad influence on hypnotic action of antihistamic medicines. SOLUTION: This hypnotic agent composition is obtained by combinedly using the antihistamic medicine having hypnotic action, preferably at least one kind of antihistamic medicine selected from the group consisting of an ethanolamine-based compound, a propylamine-based compound, a phenothiazine-based compound, a piperazine-based compound, a piperidine-based compound and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, and vitamin Es.
