PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printer that proves easier to handle when performing recording on a recorded medium such as an optical disc, and is user-friendly. SOLUTION: The printer 1 is structured so as to make a tray T on which an optical disc as a recorded medium can be set transferable by a transporting driving roller 33 and a transporting driven roller 34, and can directly perform an inkjet recording on the label side of the optical disc. The printer 1 has a tray guide 18 openably and closably provided in the downstream side of a discharge driving roller 44 and capable of changing from an opened state in which the tray guide supports the tray T by opening toward the front side of the device to a closed storage state in which the tray guide gets into a nearly vertical erect state from the opened state and vice versa.
