PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device which can solve the problem caused by the conventional semiconductor integrated circuit device wherein free carriers (electrons) are generated from a drive element, due to a counter electromotive force from a motor and cause malfunctions of a control element by flowing into the control element. SOLUTION: In this semiconductor integrated circuit device 1, a diode 3 is disposed in a second island region 9. The anode region of the diode 3 is electrically connected to the separating region 7 of a first island region 8, in which a horizontal pnp transistor 2 is formed and the cathode region of the diode 3 is electrically connected to the collector region of an NPN power transistor 4. Consequently, the separation region 7 of the first island region 8, in which the horizontal PNP transistor 2 is formed becomes lower in potential than that of the separation regions of the other island regions, and the flowing of free carriers (electrons) into the separating region 7 can be prevented.
