PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up the dimensional tolerance about the fitting of a knock pin and knock hole more severely in the range where does not give an inconvenience to an assembly as to the gear case of a transfer unit for vehicles etc. SOLUTION: This gear unit is designed so that it becomes possible to adopt a severer tolerance area level making it easy to fit into the knock hole by notching a part of one circumference face of one pair of knock pins in a plane.
