PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation method of a gate valve in a continuous water construction method for simplifying a work process up to inserting a valve from boring a hole, by interlocking operation of a work gate valve, when switching to a valve inserting device from a hole boring device. SOLUTION: A transfer-loader 4 can move between a hole boring position or a valve inserting position and an installing-extracting position of the hole boring device or the valve inserting device 2, and is constituted so as to seal and close an opening 10b for boring the hole or inserting the valve by interlocking with the transfer-loader 4 in the installing-extracting position. Thus, boring of the hole and insertion of the gate valve can be performed by the movement in the pipe axis direction of a tap water main pipe 1 of the transfer-loader 4, without requiring separate operation for the work gate valve.
