PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealer for jointing together adjacent panels which are capable of protecting the skylight from ultraviolet light and bird harm in addition to the protection of the panels from snow. SOLUTION: A grid-shaped panel frame 4 is formed by a plurality of vertical frame members 2 extending in the sloping direction of the roof and a plurality of lateral frame members 3 extending in a direction perpendicular to the sloping direction of the roof. Panels 6 is respectively fitted to the area surrounded by the vertical frame members and the lateral frame members of the panel frame. No.4 sealing member 12 is interposed between the panels. Vertically panel pressing members 15 which pushes down a side edge along the sloping direction of the panel roof is arranged, and a panel pressing member 18 which pushes the side edge in the direction perpendicular to the sloping direction of the panel roof is arranged. At the upper side of the panel pressing lateral member, a protection board 17 protecting the No. 4 seal material is arranged astride to a plurality of panel pressing members laterally.
