PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolite-like solid production method excellent in environmental protection, excellent in resource-saving properties, capable of producing a solid of any desired shape and excellent versatility, excellent in workability because of easiness in solid/liquid separation, and capable of giving a zeolite-like solid having high mechanical strength and excellent properties such as an ion exchange capacity, a molecular sieve capacity, adsorprtivity, and catalysis. SOLUTION: The zeolite-like solid production method comprises the step of mixing a zeolite composition containing incineration ash and clay and molding the mixture into a specified shape, the firing step of firing the molding to obtain a sintered compact, and the alkali treatment step of treating the sintered compact with an alkali to convert it into a zeolite.
