摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the spray direction of a coating material is not fixed, the coating material is sprayed in various directions and the undeposited coating material is diffused over a wide range of a coating booth because a robot acts to move a spray and to change the attitude of the spray corresponding the shape or the like of a work to spray the coating material on the surface-to-be-coated of the work in a conventional coating apparatus and thereby a remarkably large capacity of an air conditioner is necessiated to collect the undeposited coating material and the energy necessary for driving (exhausting) the air conditioner becomes very large. SOLUTION: The work 109 is supported by a robot 113 so that the attitude of the work 109 is changed by the robot 113, vertical downward air flow is produced in the coating booth 112 and the air flow direction and the spray direction of the coating material sprayed from the spray 114 are almost agreed with each other in the coating method.
