PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reliable dried state-detecting performance without the generation of an undried or overdried state in a clothes dryer. SOLUTION: The clothes dryer has a detection means 20 for detecting the difference in air temperature between before and after the application of the air to target clothes, an arithmetic means 21 for determining the completion of drying at a point where the temperature difference has a value less than a predetermined value, and a control means 22 for controlling drying air flow on the basis of the determination of the arithmetic means for a drying process by the drying air flow. The reliable dried state-detecting performance is hereby achieved without the generation of the undried or overdried state even in the case that exhaust temperature is unstable to bring about the falling rate period of drying.
