The invention relates to the absorber production based on thermally expendable graphite (TEG) which is used for extracting water-insoluble compositions from water, ground, solid surfaces and for collecting concentrated acids. The inventive device for producing a carbon absorbent comprises a loading bin, a dosing device, a sleeve for supplying an initial raw material (oxidised graphite), an expansion chamber, a separator provided with a vertical partition and a receiving bin. Said device is also provided with an ejector and a tangential flux swirler combined therewith. The sleeve for supplying the initial raw material is provided with an external shell for a coolant passage. The ejector is mounted at entry into the expansion chamber directly under the outlet orifice of the sleeve for supplying initial raw material.
