摘要 <p>While a reference means having a positional relation with the pass line of a multi-stage rolling mill defined in advance and a groove (area enclosed by the groove profile of a rolling roll) formed by a rolling roll at each stand are imaged within the same visual field and a position corresponding to a pass line is calculated based on an area corresponding to the reference means in the picked-up image, the center position of an area corresponding to the groove in the picked-up image is calculated and the misalignment amount of the groove can be calculated based on the calculated center position and the calculated position corresponding to a pass line. Accordingly, a misalignment amount can be measured accurately as long as the reference means and the groove are imaged within the same visual field even if the pass line of a multi-stage rolling mill is not aligned with an optical axis to be imaged.</p>
