<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing efficiency such as rewriting of data for the nonvolatile memory of a semiconductor memory device or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor memory has flash memories 1, 2, and a MRAM 5 being different in kinds from the flash memories 1, 2. A controller 3 discriminates whether data in which write is requested corresponds to control data of a file or corresponds to user data.
