<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain excellent in resistance to wear without oil lubrication, and suitable for an application in a factory or the like demanding a clean environment. <P>SOLUTION: In this chain, in which bushes 4 are fitted and fixed in bush holes formed on both ends of a pair of inner plates 1 facing each other, and outer plates 2 disposed on outer sides of the inner plates are attached on both ends of a pin 3 fitted and inserted into an inner hole of the bush, a space is provided between the inner peripheral surface of the bushes and the outer peripheral surface of the pin 3, and a cylindrical sleeve 6 is interposed in the space. The sleeve 6 consists of a composite material molded by mixing ceramics powder made of a hard porous carbon material obtained by using a bran as a raw material, and resin such as phenol resin, or a ceramic single body obtained by baking the composite material and carbonizing the resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
