<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device which can start up devices, in a relatively short time. <P>SOLUTION: The connection device receives a plurality of circuit boards 2, and determines a different start-up delay time for each circuit board, depending on the number of received circuit boards 2.
