<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HLA typing method capable of accurately and rapidly carrying out determination of type of HLA (human leukocyte antigen) without asking for another's help. <P>SOLUTION: Database in which combinations of the predicted whole alleles are described based on base sequence data of well-known HLA is prepared and a base sequence of a specimen determined by a sequence is compared with a region made to coincide with a sequence on the database every one base and a combination sequence in which mismatched number is the fewest is determined as HLA type of a genetic locus. When the database is prepared, in the case of a region in which a base is not determined, crossing of sequence data is carried out without deleting the region. Reliability of typing result can objectively be evaluated by providing a value exhibiting sequence accuracy to each base established by the sequence. When there were a plurality of candidates as a result of typing, refining based on allyl frequency is automatically carried out by a computer program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
