摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining device which can efficiently machine a work by facilitating focus positioning and change in condensing patterns of a laser beam on the work. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining device 10 is provided with a machining optical system 12 which irradiates the work 30 with a laser beam 22 emitted from a laser generator 11. The machining optical system 12 has a collimator 13, an expander 14 and a cylindrical lens 15, linearly converging the laser beam 22 to irradiate the work 30 with it. The machining optical system 12 is arranged in a prescribed relation to the work 30, with the condensed beam 22a of the laser beam 22 crossing and tilting relative to the surface 30a of the work 30, In the machining optical system 12, there are installed an angle adjusting mechanism 16 and a distance adjusting mechanism 17 as a mechanism for adjusting a relative positional relation between the machining optical system 12 and the work 30, so that the light condensing pattern of the laser beam 22 can be changed on the work 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
