<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve position detectional accuracy on a display part of an organic EL display device which has touch panel function. <P>SOLUTION: A display panel 1 comprises first and second light source parts 20a and 20b arranged along first and second sides of the display part 10, and first and second optical detection parts 30a and 30b set opposed to the first and second sides. The display part 10 has a matrix array of a plurality of display pixels, each including a displaying organic EL element 11, the first and second light source parts 20a and 20b each have a linear array of a plurality of light source organic EL elements 21, and the first and second optical detection parts 30a and 30b, each having a linear array of a plurality of detecting optical sensors 31 and a referential optical sensor 32.
