PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide particles for a display device with which sufficient contrast is obtained and of which a lowering of contrast in the lapse of time is little. SOLUTION: In the particles for the display device having a property to be positively or negatively charged and containing titanium oxide, an average dispersion diameter of titanium oxide is 1μm or less.
