PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information relating to BGM to a user right after the start of reception even in a state wherein broadcast type media begin to be received in arbitrary timing when the BGM between pieces of music is reproduced by using the broadcast type media. SOLUTION: MP3 frames of the BGM received from a server between pieces of music when no Karaoke musical performance is carried out are buffered in a buffering area 1041 and then reproduced as BGM. A CPU 101 extracts private bits which are dispersedly arranged in the MP3 frame array to obtain one piece of identification information. THen main-body information (song name etc.) corresponding to the identification information is sent to an image processing circuit 108 and displayed on a monitor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
