PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive shutter device which can be compactly attached to a microscope without changing design of the microscope. SOLUTION: The shutter device is provided with an opening part 21a of a shutter slider 21 having the opening part 21a through which an optical flux is transmitted, a shutter main body 23 which is electrically driven by a motor 29 so that it is transferred to a light shielding position and exposing position and microswitches 27, 28 which detect the position of the shutter main body 23, and the shutter main body 23, the motor 29 and the microswitches 27, 28 are provided to the shutter slider 21 and attached and detached to and from a slider insertion port of the microscope.
