PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display which can suppress display irregularity. SOLUTION: A first transparent substrate 10 and a second transparent substrate 20 having a plurality of projections which are disposed on the face in a liquid crystal layer side and are brought into contact with the first transparent substrate are fixed with a sealing material 30 as the substrates in a curved state protruding toward the liquid crystal layer 40.
