PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system in which a switch unit which operates an extender lens part by remote control is approximated and mounted to a variable power operation unit which operates a zoom lens part by remote control. SOLUTION: According to this invention, a mounting member 52 for mounting a zoom rate demand unit 40 to a pan rod 50 is used to hold the switch unit 110 between the mounting member 52 and the zoom rate demand unit 40 so that the switch unit 110 is approximated to the zoom rate demand unit 40.
