PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pressure sensitive adhesive composition which, when coated on a substrate sheet, forms an adhesive layer having an adequate releasable adhesion and giving off no odor on heating and a sheet using the composition. SOLUTION: When coated on the superimposed areas of sheets, the pressure sensitive adhesive composition forms adhesive layers on drying which do not adhere in a normal state. The superimposed areas are releasably bonded together by placing the superimposed areas face to face and putting a specific amount of pressure on the areas. The odor-reduced pressure sensitive adhesive composition is composed of a natural rubber-based aqueous emulsion type adhesive base material mixed with an effective amount of a terpene-based neutralizing and deodorizing agent having the activity of selectively neutralizing and deodorizing odor.
