PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous polyolefin that has excellent ability to contain functional components, a porous polyolefin containing a high percentage of functional components, and a method for manufacturing the porous polyolefins. SOLUTION: A dispersion of a polyolefin that is solid at room temperature and a polybutene that is liquid at room temperature, is heated to impregnate the polyolefin with the polybutene. Then, the polybutene is removed from the polybutene-impregnated polyolefin to produce a porous olefin.
