PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound having an 8-azaprostaglandin skeleton and useful as a medicine. SOLUTION: The compound has an EP4 (a prostaglandin recepter) agonist activity. Thereby, the compound is useful for prophylaxis and/or treatment of diseases such as immunological diseases, asthma, neurocyte apoptosis, arthtitis, pneumonopathy, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary emphysema, bronchitis, chronic obstructive respiratory disease, hepatopathy, acute hepatitis, nephritis, renal insufficiency, hypertension, myocardial ischemia, systemic inflammatory response syndrome, sepsis, hemophagocytosis syndromes, macrophage activation syndrome, Still's diease, Kawasaki disease, burn, systemic granuloma, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, hypercytokinemia during dialysis, multiple organ failure, shock, glaucoma or bone diseases.
