PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a tether mechanism, and mount it to a fuel cap 20 with a simple constitution, in the tether mechanism 50 for connecting the fuel cap 20 with an oil supply cover 12. SOLUTION: A tether mechanism 50 is equipped with a flexible cord-like connecting member body 55a, and a first supporting end 56 at its one end is mounted to a supported part 54 of a rotation ring 51. That is to say, the first supporting end 56 is inserted in a supporting recess 54a through an insertion opening 54b from the inside of the rotary ring 51. Thereby, while the first supporting part 56 is fitted with the supporting recess 54a, the connecting member body 55a is introduced through the introduction opening 54e, and the first supporting end 56 is mounted to the supported part 54.
