PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which can obtain high-quality recording images including a cutting line while the cutting line of a recording medium is made straight in the inkjet printer which carries out image recording to the recording medium. SOLUTION: A pressing roller 14 is set at a movement holder 12 which pivotally supports a moving blade 13 at a circle cutter. The pressing roller 14 presses the recording medium 2 against a fixed blade 11 at a position more forward by a predetermined distance in a movement direction of the moving blade 13 than a cutting point. The pressing roller 14 moves rotating in a breadth direction of the recording medium 2. The cutting point of the recording medium 2 is thus prevented from being twisted. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
