PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic base material which can be etched and is a composite magnetic material of a heat-resistant structure, which enables heat treatment required for improving magnetic characteristics of an amorphous metal for developing superior magnetic characteristics of the amorphous metal at a maximum, and to provide its laminate. SOLUTION: The magnetic base material is formed by laminating a magnetic metal thin band, such as an amorphous metal magnetic material and a nanocrystalline metal magnetic material and a resin foil, such as a polyimide foil via a heat-resistant thermoplastic resin which enables heat treatment of about 300 to 600°C for developing proper magnetic characteristics of the magnetic metal thin band.
