<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of speeding up a processing which is branched once per a plurality of times. <P>SOLUTION: This information processor has an instruction word register 2 receiving an instruction word; a decoder 3 deciding whether the instruction word received by the instruction word register 2 is a curtailed branch instruction; and a curtailed branch part 42 receiving the curtailed branch instruction when the decoder decides that it is the curtailed branch instruction. When the curtailed branch part 42 receives the curtailed branch instruction, the curtailed branch part 42 outputs instruction to the effect that it is to be branched to an address generation part 41 at a rate of once with respect to the set number of times, and outputs an instruction of the effect that it is not branched, with respect to the reception of another number of times to the address generation part 41. When the instruction that it is to be branched is outputted by the thinned branch part 42, the address generation part 41 outputs a second address of a branch destination according to the instruction by the thinned branch instruction so as to read new instruction word. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
