<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily transfer setting information corresponding to an electronic music apparatus from an editing device connected outside the electronic music apparatus and to prevent wrong input to the electronic music apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer 3, when actuating an editing function for setting information, accesses an open drive of the electronic music apparatus (A)1 to read ID information (AI) out. When setting information (A) related to the ID information (AI) is stored on a hard magnetic disk (HD) 32, the information is transferred to the open drive on the side of the electronic music apparatus (A)1 and stored. After editing operation for the setting information is completed, it is decided whether the ID information (AI) stored on the open drive of the electronic music apparatus (A)1 matches the ID information (AI) related to current setting information (A)1 and when it matches, the current setting information (AC) is transferred to the open drive of the electronic music apparatus (A)1 and stored as setting information (AS). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
