PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor network system management method which reduces a burden related to a maintenance imposed on a system manager, especially, the burden of a battery charging process of the sensor in the sensor network system where a plurality of sensors and a server for overall controlling them are connected through a communication network. SOLUTION: When a communication between two communication terminals is achieved, the server for managing a relay route obtains an information regarding a remaining battery capacity of a repeater included in the relay route capable of being selected. The server selects the relay route including a repeater having the biggest remaining battery capacity out of repeaters having the smallest remaining battery capacity in each relay route and sets it as a relay route to send and receive a signal between the above specific two communication terminals.
