PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear solenoid valve which can prevent the occurrence of hysteresis characteristic almost at all in the relationship between a feeding current and a control hydraulic pressure and can be assembled at a low cost without requiring complicated operation. SOLUTION: The linear solenoid valve 1 has a pressure regulating valve part 2 and an electromagnetic part 3 fixed to the part 2. The pressure regulating valve part 2 has a valve sleeve 8 which is provided with a hydraulic pressure supply port 5, a hydraulic pressure discharge port 6 and other ports and has also a hole 7 in the inside, a spool valve 9 which is disposed in the hole 7 inside the valve sleeve 8 in an axial direction X to move freely and controls communication between the hydraulic pressure supply port 5 and the hydraulic pressure discharge port 6 by movement in the axial direction X, a coil spring 10 which urges the spool valve 9 by elastic force in the axial direction X and an adjusting lid 11 which is screwed to one end part of the sleeve 8 to close one end of the axial direction X of the hole 7 and adjusts elastic force of the coil spring 10.
