PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistance evaluation method which enables an absolute and quick evaluation of the corrosion resistance of a steel member that is used in the contact state with concrete or the like. SOLUTION: In the corrosion resistance evaluation method, an accelerated corrosion resistance test is performed for the steel member in the non-contact state with the concrete, and determines the test time (T) until it reaches the corrosion amount corresponding to 10 years, for example, of the steel member in the non-contact state with the concrete in which the corrosion amount of the steel member is already detected. The accelerated corrosion resistance test is performed for the execution time (T') determined on the basis of the test time for the steel member in the contact state with the concrete so that the state is approximately the same as the actual use condition, and the corrosion amount of the steel member is measured.
