PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vortex tube capable of improving its thermal separating performance and hardly raising its temperature. SOLUTION: A high-temperature side end face 17 in a vortex tube 10 has a projection 1 of which a front face side at least partially eccentric from an axis of the vortex tube 10, projecting toward a low-temperature air outlet 15 and directly kept into contact with a rotating eddy-current in the vortex tube 10 has the projecting shape, and its back face side is flat or has the recessed shape. Further the high-temperature side end face 17 has the specific number of shaft members 20 fixed to the high-temperature side end face 17 at their basic end parts at least partially eccentric from the axis of the vortex tube 10 and projecting toward the low-temperature air outlet 15.
