PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase of capacity of a storage battery which serves as a power source of a door motor at power failure of an elevator and cost increase of a power source conversion device. SOLUTION: A D.C. boosting device 3 for raising a voltage of the storage battery 1 is provided and connected to an input side of an inverter 6 for driving the door motor 7. The D.C. boosting device 3 raises the voltage of the storage battery 1. A diode 4 and a smoothing capacitor 5 smooth the D.C. voltage and feeds it to the inverter 6.
