PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction tape which prevents from being cut halfway in use, enables writing easily thereupon like writing on a manuscript paper with even a pencil after being stuck and is provided with an adhesive strength to the manuscript paper to prevent from being easily peeled by rubbing. SOLUTION: The correction tape body 1 is constituted of a paper substrate sheet 2 made of a thin paper which has a basis weight of 10 g/m<SP>2</SP>to 14 g/m<SP>2</SP>and prevents a character or a picture pattern from permeating therethrough, an aluminum deposited transfer layer 13 for transferring on the paper substrate sheet 2 a second white ink layer 12 coated with an oil-based white ink of wet 10 g/m<SP>2</SP>to 15 g/m<SP>2</SP>and an adhesive resin layer 20 coating the rear surface of the aluminum deposited transfer layer 13 with an adhesive resin.
