发明名称 WELDING METHOD OF BALANCE WEIGHT ON PROPELLER SHAFT
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method of balance weights on a propeller shaft, which can remove residual stress in a weld zone, reduce hardness in the heat affected zone and improve torsional fatigue strength, by applying a set of welding treatments comprising the first welding and the second welding by the same welding device, in welding the balance weights on a high tensile strength steel tube for a propeller shaft. SOLUTION: In the welding method of the balance weights on the propeller shaft, an electric resistance welding is applied to bond the balance weights 15, 16 on the surface of a high tensile strength steel tube for the propeller shaft 14 which has been welded with joint members 12, 13 on both ends of the high strength steel tube 11. A set of welding treatments comprising the first welding with an electric current value of 5-20 kA and a conducting time of 15-40 cycles and the second welding with an electric current value of 6-24 kA and a conducting time of 50-120 cycles is performed with the same welding device.
