PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a functional cement hardened material which is suitably used in various building materials constituting a comfortable life space by preventing pollution of a surface for a long period of time by a photocatalytic function or by photodecomposing chemical substances causing a sick house, or in cleaning materials, or the like, having functions for cleaning exhaust water, river water, atmosphere, or the like, and which is hardly deteriorated by rainstorm or hard rain and remarkably excellent in durability; and to provide the functional cement hardened material produced by the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing the functional cement hardened material comprises dipping a cement hardened material into a dispersion including anatase-type titanium oxide fine particles, then pulling up the hardened material, and fixing and forming a coating of titanium oxide mainly containing anatase-type on the surface of the cement hardened material by subjecting the hardened material to fixing treatment at a high pressure and high temperature in an autoclave.
