PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for the inside of the alimentary caral by which a detailed inspection at an upper side alimentary caral and an autonomous test on the side of a deep part can be applied by an easy method with which a pain of a patient is reduced. SOLUTION: In the state of connecting a tube 4 with a capsule 3 by putting a cord-shaped member 6 extending through the inside of the hollow part of the tube 4 through a through-hole formed at the capsule 3, the capsule 3 is swallowed. Then, the speed of moving of the capsule in the esophagus 55 is set to a speed suitable for the inspection on the hand side of the tube 4, a dyeing test is performed by pouring an iodine solution 43, and a pulling-back test is performed as needed. In the stomach 57, a wide area can be inspected by pushing/pulling the cord-shaped member 6, twisting the tube 4, etc. so as to vary the direction of a visual field. Thereafter, it is possible to inspect the side of the deep part with the capsule 3 detached from the tube 4 by pulling one side of the hand side of the cord-shaped member 6.
