MACHINE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF SHEETS READY PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE BINDING

A machine for the manufacture of sheets ready prepared for immediate binding comprises a pair of upper and lower rollers (11, 11) which drive a strip of paper (6) from a reel (5) of a feeder (2). Downstream of the rollers (11, 11 ) there is a contact cutter (25) which cuts the strip of paper into sheets whi ch are subsequently gripped by two lower and upper conveyor belts (27', 27"). A t least one applicator (62) for applying a band of silicone material (38) caus es the latter to follow a path towards the sheets which advance between the conveyor belts (27', 27"). A dispenser (40) applies an intermittent jet of liquid adhesive substance onto the side of the band (38) which is to be brought into contact with the sheets of paper (7). At the outlet of the machine there is a device (4) for collecting sheets (7) in reams (8).
