<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier constituted so that air can be purified comfortably without causing a user to notice an air current and sound even when air is sucked at a high flow rate. <P>SOLUTION: This air purifier is constituted so that the bottom end part of a three-dimensional filter 3 is inserted/set in a filter receiver 2 having a cylindrical peripheral wall 6 and an air blowing-off part 8 at the bottom 5, a fan 4 is arranged under the bottom of the filter receiver 2, the surrounding air is sucked in the three-dimensional filter 3 from both of the ceiling surface side 3a and the side face side 3b of the three-dimensional filter 3 by driving the fan 4 and blown out through a blow-off port 8 of the bottom 5 of the filter receiver 2. The three-dimensional filter 3 consists of, for example, a columnar filter obtained by winding a flat material in a spiral state.
