<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a bonded body, whereby a pair of adherends mutually bonded using an adhesive can be easily and securely separated, wherein the adhesive retains an excellent adhesive strength without being affected by the environmental temperature, is excellent in shelf stability and can be applied to a wide range of adherends. <P>SOLUTION: The bonded body 1 has a pair of adherends 2 and an adhesive layer 4, wherein the adherends 2 are mutually bonded by the adhesive layer 4. The bonded body 1 is inserted between a tool horn 6 and an anvil of an ultrasonic vibrator 3 and exposed to ultrasonic vibration which is generated by applying a voltage to a piezoelectric vibrator 5. The ultrasonic vibration vibrates the tool horn 6 and one of the adherends 2, so the adherends 2 are moved relative to each other. The ultrasonic vibration heats the adhesive layer 4 and reduces its strength. The adherends 2 in the bonded body having the adhesive layer 4 with a reduced strength are separated from each other, which consequently separates the pair of the adherends 2 from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
