<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve hydrogen separating efficiency from reformed gas without incurring complexity of a fuel reforming system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel reforming system is equipped with a reformer 5 reforming hydrocarbon system fuel and water as raw materials into reformed gas rich in hydrogen, at least a first hydrogen separating membrane unit 7a, and a second hydrogen separating membrane unit 7b placed at its downstream, into which non-permeable gas exhausted from the first hydrogen separating membrane unit 7a is introduced, as a hydrogen separating membrane unit transmitting selectively hydrogen in the reforming gas. Then, water vapor in the non-permeable gas flowing into the second hydrogen separating membrane unit 7b is condensed and reduced by a condenser 9 arranged between the first and the second hydrogen separating membrane units 7a, 7b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
