LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE AND LIGHTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by an inexpensive method, a light source device enabling a resin to emit light in uniform luminance as a whole by incident light from a light source such as an LED without needing to separately install a reflecting plate or the like; and to provide a lighting system using the light source device.

SOLUTION: This light source device 10 having a light-transmitting cylindrical resin 12, and one or two light sources or LEDs 14 attached to both ends or one end of the resin 12 for applying light into the resin 12 has a reflecting layer 16 for reflecting incident light from the LED(s) 14 to uniformly illuminate an irradiation object.
