METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING ROTATION VIBRATION OF ROTATING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for measuring rotation vibration of a rotating body capable of measuring torsional vibration of the rotor of a main motor by a simple system.

SOLUTION: The system for measuring rotation vibration comprises a speed generator 2 connected with the rotating body to be measured; a PLL circuit 11 having a time constant of ≥100 times of AC voltage frequency to be connected with the speed generator 2; a means for measuring the zero-cross interval of out put wave-form of the speed generator 2; a comparator 13 connected with the output side of a voltage control oscillator of the PLL circuit 11 for comparing the mean zero-cross interval of the output of the voltage control oscillator with the above zero-cross interval; a digital low pass filter 14 to be connected with the comparator 13; and a fast Fourier transformer 15 to be connected with the digital low pass filter, as well as with the output side of the voltage control oscillator of the PLL circuit 11.
