PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step-up/down switching regulator control circuit which provides a stable error amplifier circuit in a wide output voltage range from the step-up to the step-down, and to provide a step-up/down switching regulator. SOLUTION: The step-up/down switching regulator control circuit has a constitution where a plurality of phase compensation circuits are provided to the error amplifier circuit. A selection circuit which switches to the optimum phase compensation circuit by detecting input/output conditions is provided. A plurality of the phase compensation circuits are composed outside the step-up/down switching regulator control circuit. A proper phase compensation constant can be set in accordance with usage.
