PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit capable of detecting the locking of a DC motor driving a fan of a refrigerator, with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator comprising a blower fan for blowing the air cooled by an evaporator to a storage chamber, the DC motor 1a for rotating the blower fan, a DC power source 2 for supplying the electric power to the DC motor 1a, and a control means 5 for controlling the rotation of the DC motor 1a, a first resistance 3 connected with the DC motor 1a in series, and a grounding means 14 for grounding a negative electrode-side power source terminal 12 of the DC motor 1a are mounted between a positive electrode of a DC power source 2 and a positive electrode-side power source terminal 11 of the DC motor 1a, and the control means 5 stops the DC motor 1a in the case when the locking of the DC motor 1a is detected by a motor voltage detecting means 6.
