PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical shaking base isolation structure capable of firmly supporting an upper structure part, while exhibiting the sufficient vertical swinging base isolation function. SOLUTION: A horizontal shaking base isolation device 1 is interposed between upper and lower structure parts 2 and 3. First and second rubber-like elastic bodies 4, 5a, etc., 5b, etc. are arranged between the horizontal shaking base isolation device and the upper structure part. The first elastic body is jointed to the horizontal shaking base isolation device and the upper structure part, and performs base isolation by the resiliency of rubber to vibration in the vertical direction, and supports a load of the upper structure part except for an earthquake. The second elastic body is jointed to any one of the horizontal shaking base isolation device and the upper structure part, and is not joined to another one, and supports the load of the upper structure part by being compressed when the horizontal shaking base isolation device and the upper structure part mutually approach in the vibration in the vertical direction, and becomes free by separating the unjointed side when mutually sepatating.
