PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive trouble detection device capable of detecting a trouble of an elongation detection device. SOLUTION: A trouble detection device 60 of a high altitude working vehicle has elongation detectors A21, and the like which are provided on outriggers 8, 8' and the like to lift and support a vehicle body 2 to respectively detect the elongation of outrigger beams 10, 10' and the like aside the vehicle body 2, and comprises the elongation detectors A21 and B21 to detect the elongation of the outrigger beams 10, 10' and the like, and an elongation detector C22 to detect the total elongation of the outrigger beams 10, 10' and the like, and further comprises an operation circuit 31 to calculate the sum of the detected values by the elongation detectors A21 and B21, a storage circuit 32 in which the difference between the calculated value by the operation circuit 31 and the detected value by the elongation detector C22 is preset, and a trouble determination circuit 33, and when the difference in the detected value exceeds the set value stored in the storage circuit 32, the trouble determination circuit 33 determines that any one of the elongation detectors A21 and the like is in trouble.
