PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a terminal part of a bumper beam is crushed with respect to the impact to the bumper beam of an automobile from the oblique direction, the impact energy is absorbed, and particularly a connection part of a bumper stay and the bumper beam and a side frame is cracked. SOLUTION: A front end of the bumper stay 4 is fitted into flanges 9 of a front attachment metal fitting 5 and is connected by welding parts 15, 16 and 17. A rear end of the bumper stay 4 is fitted into flanges 18 of a rear attachment metal fitting 6, and is connected by welding parts 16, 17, 20 and 21. The front attachment metal fitting 5 is provided with a flat part 10 and a tilt part 11, the tilt part 11 is separated from a rear surface of the bumper beam 2, and a pressure receiving area is reduced.
